BDO Zimbabwe is delighted to invite you to a Budget Tax Seminar to be held on Friday the 9th March 2018 at Cresta Lodge, Msasa.

Join us to understand local and international tax laws as well as transfer pricing issues. Our conference will also evaluate the current economic environment in the new political dispensation including the implications of the 2018 budget. 


Mr Dube, an Associate Tax Director, will present the Key Tax Highlights from the 2018 National Budget.  Mr Dube is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Tax Accountants.  He worked at Zimra as a Case Manager, Investigations from2001 to 2005 and was a Regional Manager from 2006 to 2010.  He also had a year’s attachment with the Australian Tax Office.


We have also invited the Head of Transfer Pricing, BDO South Africa, Roxanna Nyiri to discuss topical Transfer Pricing issues. Roxanna has extensive transfer pricing experience.  She provides transfer pricing consulting services to Multinational Enterprises on, supply chain planning, optimal global structuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, tax authority response and negotiation and competent authority submissions, amongst others.


Other major highlights will include a presentation on The New Economic Order and potential business opportunities by Dr Kanyenze, a renowned Economist. Godfrey Kanyenze is a development practitioner with over thirty years of working experience.  He is the founding Director of the labour-linked research think-tank, the Labour and Economic Development Research Institute of Zimbabwe (LEDRIZ).


In addition, a ZIMRA Official will address delegates on Tax updates covering areas aligned to our conference.
